Therapy

Therapy deals with the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of a wide range of internal diseases that do not require surgical intervention. Patients see a therapist for fever, cough, chest or abdominal pain, weakness, blood pressure issues, shortness of breath, swelling, digestive problems, or for routine check-ups.

The internist develops an individualized diagnostic and treatment plan, manages chronic conditions, monitors the patient’s health, coordinates consultations with other specialists when needed, and helps prevent complications.
