Abdominal surgery is a wide range of therapeutic and diagnostic operations on the organs and walls of the abdominal cavity. Interventions can be planned or emergency and include complete or partial removal of an organ, suturing a defect, removal of a tumor, restoration of patency, and other manipulations.
