Electrocardiogram at home

An electrocardiogram (ECG) is one of the basic methods of heart diagnostics. It makes it possible to determine the intensity, frequency, and rhythm of heart contractions, as well as to assess its work by a number of other parameters.

The examination is often prescribed for preventive purposes, as well as in the presence of signs of disease. In cases of acute chest pain, shortness of breath, and some other symptoms, an ECG is performed urgently.
