STRETCH MARKS REMOVAL
Stretch marks removal
Stretch marks removal is a highly efficient hardware procedure. It makes it possible to reduce striae in one session and make them almost invisible after several. During the procedure, the energy emitted by the device penetrates deep layers of the skin. As a result, it provokes the destruction of old, rusty cells and stimulates the formation of new ones. In addition, the procedure activates the production of collagen, elastin, and other substances responsible for the youthfulness of the skin.
Why do stretch marks appear?
Stretches, or striae, are scar tissues formed when dermis cells are destroyed. First of all, the production of collagen and elastin is reduced in connection with the normal synthesis of other substances influencing the skin condition - collagenase and elastase. As a result, collagen fibers are destroyed, and, as a consequence, the elasticity of the skin is reduced. If the body's mass increases, there are many microfractures in the skin where the stretches appear. Small vessels and capillaries are also injured, which explains the stretches' blue and dark maroon color.
They can appear anywhere in the body, but most people primarily suffer from stretches on the abdomen, buttocks, and thighs.
Most often, stretch marks appear during puberty and pregnancy when several factors combine. Also, striae can occur in connection with endocrine and other diseases.
The main reasons for the appearance of stretch marks
The reasons for the formation of stretch marks are:
hormonal changes in the body
age-related skin changes
hereditary predisposition
Indications for stretch marks removal
The indications for the procedure are:
- fresh and old stretch marks on any part of the body;

Before carrying out the procedure, you need to consult with a beautician. The specialist will choose the optimal technique and determine how many sessions are needed to obtain the desired result.
Advantages of radio wave stretch marks removal
Today, there are several different methods to remove stretches. One of the most effective is a radio wave, or fractional, which is carried out by means of the Matrix RF technology. Numerous scientific and clinical studies have confirmed the effectiveness of the procedure. Many specialists prefer it to laser grinding and other methods.
Benefits of radio wave stretch marks removal:
- high efficiency - after 1 session, stretch marks decrease and fade, and after 2-3 procedures they become almost invisible;
- safety - there is no risk of burns and other complications;
- sterility - the procedure is carried out using individual disposable nozzles;
- painlessness - there is no need to use anesthesia since the patient only feels a slight tingling sensation;
- skin rejuvenation - self-regeneration processes are activated;
- short period of rehabilitation.
During the procedure, the scar tissue is destroyed, in the place of which new cells gradually appear, and the skin relief is leveled. Due to this, the result of fractional processing does not appear immediately but after a while. You can notice it after 1 session, 4 or 6 sessions are required to obtain a pronounced effect. Repeat the procedure every 3-6 weeks.
Contraindications to radio wave stretch marks removal
Matrix RF is not recommended for:

Preparation for the stretch marks removal
Preparation for fractional stretch marks removal is effortless.

Do not sunbathe for 2 weeks
Do not use scrubs and peels for 2 weeks
Do not visit baths, saunas, and swimming pools for 3 days
Do not apply creams and cosmetics on the skin for 1 day
How is the stretch marks removal performed?
The beautician first treats the skin with an antiseptic during the procedure and allows it to dry completely. Then the specialist opens the individual disposable Matrix RF applicator, which is installed on the device. It contains a certain number of electrodes through which radio wave energy is transmitted. Up to 400 pulses can pass through such a nozzle. Depending on the size of the treated area, they are used for 1 or several procedures.
Then the beautician turns on the device and applies the applicator to the skin, sequentially treating all stretch marks. The procedure lasts on average up to half an hour. The patient feels some warmth and a slight tingling sensation at this time.
After the session, a soothing cream is applied to the skin.
