Otitis treatment

An otitis is the inflammation process in the ear, caused by the bacterial or viral infection. The otitis is most often the consequence of undertreated ENT diseases: tonsillitis, runny nose (rhinitis), maxillary sinusitis etc. With the otitis, the inflammation can affect one or both ears.

It is very difficult to diagnose the disease independently, because the pain, caused by the otitis, can irradiate into different areas of the head, eyes or teeth.

The otitis, except for ENT diseases, is caused by the hypothermia of the organism, weak immune system, injuring the auditory channel, polyps, adenoids and deflection of the nasal septum.
